Hot Ham Hoagie is a MUST HAVE! The ham was baked and sliced in-house. Sandwich was served with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and the bread was lightly toasted. Friendly fast service. We also had the Chicken Bacon Melt! That was also served with lettuce tomatoes onion and pickles. Out of this world. Great place for a quick bite. Cash only. Will definitely be back!

Stopped for breakfast this morning. This by far exceeded my expectations. The eggs, over medium, were done perfectly! The sausage patties were huge by today's standards and the home fries were done enough to have some crunchy edges (just the way I like them). The wait staff was quick to serve us with a pleasant smile and came back to check on us several times without being intrusive! The restaurant was clean and inviting!!! I think I just found my new favorite restaurant. The menu has enough to satisfy everyone! And in this day of inflation, we walked out having eaten all of our meals paying less than 20!!!

I don’t know how to describe this place other than iconic or nostalgic. The menu has been the same for 30 years. When I say the menu is the same, it’s literally the same laminated sheet with the same pricing. An experience worth having. I don’t know how they do it but I dig it

Absolutely a fantastic lunch. Friendly & kind waiter, extremely prompt & attentive. Food was prompt to the table. Everything was very good. Specials are on board. Price is great. CASH ONLY.

Ruthie’s Diner might not be in Ohio, but the second you take a bite of the iconic Big R sandwich—stacked with kielbasa, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and mustard—you’ll be like, yo, am I in the Midwest multiverse? This place is straight vibing with cozy energy, skibidi-certified chaos, and meals that absolutely slap. The Big R? Built different. Portions are lowkey massive (big chungus approved), the staff is wholesome AF, and the whole vibe feels like comfort food and main character energy had a baby. 10/10, would devour again.

Our favorite place to eat and service is great, food is delicious and prices are reasonable. Love the old style diner atmosphere. Also close to the historical town of Ligonier which is a hidden gem.
